No not at all. In fact, you may find it interesting to watch your output increase as we clean them.
No, this is a very common mistake. Please do not do this as you will be permanently damaging your panels! You can read more information on our solar panel cleaning page here.
Not at all. Some warranties actually require regular cleaning.
Sometimes. The methods we use do not bring the temperature of the panels down very quickly so there is no change of thermal shock. We use our methods at midday in 115F heat with no problems at all. If other people are going to be cleaning your panels they may be using different methods so we would recommend early morning cleaning for them.
You are losing money when your panels are dirty because the dirt is blocking the sun. It will also lengthen the lifespan of your system.
Unfortunately the solar industry is still new and there are many inexperienced installers out there. It is a scientific fact that dirty panels block the sunlight and less electricity is produced. I have even heard a so-called "experienced" installer say a solar panel produces the same amount of electricity when covered with a foot of snow. Another reason why they say that is telling a customer there is a maintenance expense is not a good selling point.
We have to use the squeegee method but we use a special soap that leave minimal deposits on the glass so your interior window will stay clean twice as long.
If you are going to have your interior windows cleaned we will need access inside. You do not need to be home for this but most people would prefer to be home.
The squeegee method leaves a layer of sticky soap on the glass but our method will not leave anything for the dirt to stick too.

Yes, If you do not clean the windows after then hard water spots will form on the windows.
We use a rotating brush that passes through the vent and loosens all the lint. The lint is removed and we make sure there is a strong air flow produced by the dryer.
Ye, we need access to your dryer.
